final info & everything you need to know as an #execfintech attendee

Tuesday is the big day and we want you to make the best of it. This is not a drill – read everything carefully.

The most important thing would be, to truly live up to our house rules:
First Names / VIP = everyone / No BS / Give Give Give Ask

See who’s coming & connect in advance
#execfintech is build around connecting the right people. The networking app Bizzabo facilitates exactly that. To maximize the right connections at the event we recommend that you connect and contact each other beforehand. Also, Bizzabo is our main communication channel from now on and during the event. Important announcements and possible last-minute program changes are all communicated via the app.
Register with your mobile devices – Android/iOS. Ping us if you can’t find the login details.

I can’t strengthen this enough: everything you need, info- and connection-wise, is in Bizzabo. Profiles of our speakers, our partners, the exhibiting companies as well as the agenda and a map to guide you to the premises.

Program & speakers
The registration will start at 8.00am and the official program will begin at 9.00am. There will be two parallel tracks, a dedicated networking area, plus the pitch & demo stage. The first track is held on the ‘KPMG stage’ and the second on the ‘Unibator stage’. All keynotes and panels are designed for interaction and open dialogue is intended (check out our session formats). You can check the latest program (and potential changes) in Bizzabo, too. The program on the website will be updated one last time on Monday.

For everyone who wants to fine-tune their pitch over the weekend: feel free to get in touch with our pitch coach Peter Hopwood and get some last-minute advice!

Dresscode
This is a startup-event, business attire is not necessary. Please don’t make me look foolish wearing sneakers while you’re wearing suit & tie. 😉

Accreditation
You will receive everything you need at the registration counter on site. Please bring your Eventbrite ticket with you (paper or digitally scannable) and have it ready, to ensure a smooth entrance for everyone. If you have not received a ticket, reach out to Claudia@execio.co immediately.

Sponsors
We like to thank our long-term Partner KPMG for the amazing support this year. #execfintech wouldn’t be possible without them.
Make sure to check out all our partners and reach out to them beforehand.

Maps & directions
#execfintech will take place at ‘Casino Gebäude Campus Westend‘ of the Goethe University in Frankfurt. The exact address is: Nina-Rubinstein-Weg 1, 60323 Frankfurt am Main

  • For those of you arriving by car, the best address for your GPS is: Fürstenberger Straße 233. You can park at ‘Parkhaus Palmengarten’ (Siesmayerstraße 61) and enjoy a ten minute walk. There are no other parking spots right at the campus.
  • For those using public transport: Take subway U4 or U5 from ‘Frankfurt Main Station’ to ‘Willy-Brandt-Platz’, switch to subway lines U1, U2 or U3 till ‘Holzhausenstraße’ – it’s a 300m walk via Bremer Straße to the Campus Westend.
  • Bus lines are 36 or 75 till ‘Uni Campus Westend’ or 64 till ‘Bremer Platz’
  • Additionally, here’s an overview of the area

Food & Drinks
Food & drinks are included and available throughout the day, with various options (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) available for lunch and snacks.

If you have scanned the agenda for a lunch break, you might’ve seen that we’re offering lunch from 11:30 AM till 3 PM, but without a specific break in the agenda. We will also offer a variety of sweet and savoury snacks in the morning and afternoon.

Our motive is easily explained: grant as much flexibility as possible, while at the same time guaranteeing freshly cooked food instead of keeping dishes warm under a heat lamp for hours.

Therefore, we make use of the Campus Westend dining hall. You’re all free to grab whatever you like, go several times, it’ll all be taken care of with your visitor’s badge.

Accommodation
If you’re still looking, we recommend to check the hotels listed via our partner Triprebel (includes discount).

There is a cloakroom at the event. Due to shortage of space, we are not able to store everyone’s luggage. Please store your luggage at the hotel if it’s an option.

Pre-Event
For all early-arrivers: There will be a get-together over drinks at bar Pracht in Frankfurt, on Monday (March 7th). Our friends at Fintech FFM were kind enough to set things up for you, details here.

If you have any further questions, please let me know. Safe travels and see you in Frankfurt on Tuesday!

Best regards
Ramin

Radically faster credit enquiries with digital account check

From time to time we highlight services by our partners.

The digital account check is a service by arvato Financial Solutions.
Credit enquiries and especially the credit checks usually take days – often weeks. Our partner arvato Financial Solutions offers a digital account check that radically reduces this waiting time. In fact the digital account check is – as the name indicates – completely digital and happens in real time.

The enquirer can now enter his account data via online interface and confirms the account check by the loan creditor. The whole checking process is then done by arvato Financial Solutions.

Online is not only faster, it’s also available anywhere. Thus, the digital account check can be integrated in the online processes as well as in-store. It is an uncomplicated shortcut as it integrates account information and scoring seemlessly in the application process.

You can find more information about the digital account check at finance.arvato.com.

We offer various opportunities and tools to boost your visibility, one of which is our pitch competition – it’s designed to provide a stage for the most promising fintechs at #execfintech.

We are excited to announce that this year’s competing startups pitch for 20.000 EUR in cash prizes. Apply here.

Procedure:

  • Fill out the application form
  • Experts will preselect 30 semifinalists.
These 30 startups will receive two free tickets to attend #execfintech
  • Semifinals take place on the product stage in the morning. Each startup gets three minutes to pitch, followed by a two minute Q&A of the jury
  • The jury selects the hottest six startups for the finals in the afternoon, who will again pitch in front of the audience. (three minutes to pitch and five minutes for Q&A)

Judges & prizes:

  • An expert jury will face the challenge of crowning #execfintech’s top pitches.
  • The total prize money sums up to 20.000 EUR in cash (no strings attached).
